Shaklee Healthy Cleanse Foods

While on Shaklee Healthy Cleanse 7-Day Program, you will want to eat and avoid certain foods.  You will want to eat unlimited fruits, leafy greens and veggies- raw, lightly steamed, or sauteed in 1-2 TBSP of olive oil. 

You will want to avoid canned vegetables and eat no more than one starchy vegetable per day.

You want to avoid oils, fats, commercial salad dressings and condiments.  However, you may use 1-2 TBSP of extra virgin olive oil for salad dressing or sauteing.

You can add fresh lemon juice, fresh or dried herbs,  pepper, and/or balsamic vinegar to the olive oil for a great salad dressing or condiment.  Veggies can also be dipped in mustard or fresh salsa.

You should avoid refined sugars, added sugars (such as agave, honey and maple syrup) or artificial sweeteners, but Stevia is acceptable.

You will want to avoid nuts, beans & pulses (split peas, lentils, legumes),  soy (tofu, tempeh, miso, edamame, soy milk), dairy, and candy, energy bars, protein bars, gluten-free junk food and chips etc.
1-2 servings of protein are permissible per day:

  • 1-2 scoops of Shaklee Life Shake or Instant Protein with water and fruits or vegetables 
  • or 4 oz. of grilled chicken breast, fish or shellfish
  • or 1-2 hard-boiled eggs
When possible, use organic or free range chicken or wild-caught fish.

You should avoid all other proteins- including dairy.

Using Shaklee Healthy Cleanse

To avoid feeling hungry or low in energy while using Healthy Cleanse, you may need to increase your water intake and be sure you are eating at least every two hours.  You may also need more volume of vegetables and fruits.  Protein options are suggested for those with tendencies to hypoglycemia or who can't manage hunger.

It is suggested to include only light exercise during the 7-day Healthy Cleanse period.

If you are under the care of a physician/or taking prescriptions, consult your physician before beginning the Healthy Cleanse.  The same goes if you have a lot of digestive issues or have been diagnosed with digestive system disorders.

You should NOT do Healthy Cleanse while pregnant or while breastfeeding.

Shaklee Heatlhy Cleanse Program:

  • 2 Herb-Lax with 1 glass of water BEDTIME
It is recommended that you eat at least every 2 hours, drink at least 6-10 glasses of water each day, get 30 minutes of light weight bearing exercise each day and strive for 7-8 hours of sleep each nice.
